Welcome

UPDATED 12/16/07

I know it has been a while since I have posted any new pictures life has just been crazy lately. My collection has grown to 314 pieces including many new mixing bowls, my first pitcher, and quite a few new dinnerware patterns. I will work on getting them posted and up on the web as soon as I can.

Thanks for checking out my collection.

Golden Shell

Shell Dinnerware was produced from 1965-1976. Golden Shell is probably the most common pattern seen of Fire-King. It is however somewhat difficult to find the pieces with out excessive wear on the golden trim which is in fact 22k gold. Shell is very often confused by sellers as swirl. However two main differences between the two are the scalloped edges on the Shell and the look of the gold band. I have shown a close up of the edge so it can be compared to that of the Golden Anniversary Swirl.

Shown:
13" x 9 1/2" Platter (1)
10" Dinner Plate (7)
7 5/8" Soup Pate (3)
4 3/4" Berry Bowl (8)
5 3/4" Saucer (8)
8 1/2" Round vegetable Bowl (1)
8oz. Cup (6)
Sugar (1)
Creamer (2)
